Synopsis
In the quiet English village of Thistlecombe, lonely shopkeeper Margot Fenwick takes in a scruffy grey tabby with jet-black stripes and a stare that says more than any cat should. Evel is sweet by day. By night, the disappearances start — first pigeons, then pets, then neighbours.
As the body count climbs and the village turns on itself, postman Reg Doyle is the only one willing to say what everyone's thinking: the new cat in town isn't badly behaved. He's ancient. He's furious. He's Evel.
